Here's what's happening in Waterford this weekend? 

Pucker Up—Trumpet Master Class and Big Band Concert:
 Jazz trumpet legend Roger Ingram performs a free concert with local Big Band Jump Swing Fever at Waterford Town Hall on Saturday from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
There will be a free Trumpet Master Class before concert at Town Hall from 3:00 to 4:15 p.m. Ingram has been the first call lead trumpet in the U.S. for the past 35 years. He has played lead for Louis Bellson, Tom Jones, Ray Charles, Maynard Ferguson, Woody Herman, Paul Anka, Harry Connick Jr., Broadway shows and more!

WaterforDrama Presents ... Waterford High School proudly presents the first WATERFORDrama production of the season, the hilarious comedy It's Only A Play by Terrence McNally. This play, which pokes fun at theater types, will take place at the Waterford High School Auditorium on October 17 - 19 at 7:30 p.m.

Pumpkin Pickin': Waterford Boy Scout Troop 29's Annual Fall Harvest Sale is Saturday and Sunday, October 19-20 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m..  Hundreds of Sugar pumpkins for your baking and decorating needs plus a ton of Jack'O'Lantern pumpkins too available at Miner's Farm, 85 Clark Lane Waterford.

The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center presents the 14th annual Eugene O'Neill Celebration at Monte Cristo Cottage in New London October 17-18. The event is free and open to all.

Fall Foliage Cruise on The Thames: Friends of the New London County Historical Society offers a fall foliage cruise on the Cross Island Sound Ferry Jessica W to Norwich and back from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Art, Tango, and Tapas: A fundraiser for Expressiones, will be held at the Historic Thames Club, 290 State Street, in New London from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

DIY Festival at New London Public Library: From 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., New London Public Library, 63 Huntington Street, offers experts demonstrating how to do all manner of things, from home brewing to raising chickens. Each DIY presentation will run about 20 to 40 minutes and all of them are free. For a full list of presenters, go to www.plnl.org.

Fiddleheads First Annual Co-op Fair: Fiddleheads Food Cooperative is celebration of National Co-op Month and the International Decade of the Cooperative with a co-op fair from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
