It's A Hot Job But Someone's Got To Do It!
Which job do you think would be the worst or the best to have in the summer?
If you work in a library, an ice cream shop, or an air-conditioned office, congratulations! You have the coolest jobs!
If, however, you're spending this summer outside doing roofing or roadwork, work as a lifeguard or a landscaper, or are in a kitchen baking, washing pots, or slaving over a deep fat fryer, that's hot!
Julie Fitzgerald, who works at Giuliano's Bakery in Niantic, says when the temperature outside is in the high 90s and the temperature in the bakery tops 110 degrees, she goes into the walk-in freezer to cool off. It's a constant 32 degrees in there!
