Waterford High School’s first football game in Waterford since 2010 has been cancelled tonight and rescheduled for Saturday at 6:30 p.m. because of the rain.
Waterford (0-2) was set to play Plainfield (2-0) tonight at 6:30, but heavy rains caused school officials to reschedule the game. Instead, the team will play at 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
The game will be the football team’s first game in Waterford since 2010. The team did not play any games at Waterford High School last year as a new artificial field was under construction.
