Waterford Boys Win ECC Quarterfinal

The basketball team will play Ledyard in the semifinals on Wednesday

The boys' basketball team continued its successful season with a win against Bacon Academy at the Eastern Connecticut Conference quarterfinals on Saturday, The Bulletin reported.

According to the article, the team will head to the ECC semifinals on Wednesday, taking on No. 6 Ledyard at 6 p.m.

“We came out strong, that’s what we wanted to do,” Waterford coach Greg Gwudz told The Bulletin, referring to the team's 74-49 win over the Bacon Bobcats.
