Elementary School Students Say Thanks To Their Loved Ones Who Served
Just because Memorial Day is over, doesn’t mean that you can’t still honor the troops.
Tuesday afternoon, Oswegatchie Elementary School students took turns honoring family and friends who served in the military. Students took turns with the microphone, saying a quote to a loved one, and then giving the loved one flowers.
Principal Nancy Macione was the master of ceremonies for the event. Macione gave credit to second-grade teacher Kristin DeLea for organizing the event.
