As the heavy flakes fly down here along the eastern shoreline, the Waterford Police Department reports that the town's snowstorm parking ban is now in effect.
The WFD stats via their Facebook page that when snowfall totals exceed three inches or more "you must remove your vehicles from the street or we will have them towed."
"Please remove your vehicles from the streets to allow plows to do their work, and for emergency services to respond," the officers state via the update. "Thank you as always, and stay safe out there, we are already responding to numerous accidents!"
