Let's take a trip back to the mid-1980s, when your local police officers were patrolling town in Volvos.
Several retired Waterford police officers said the Volvo was the fastest police car they ever drove, the department writes on its Facebook page. And that's not surprising, given that the special police package Volvo was equipped with a twin turbo engine.
