Police Search For Armed Robbery Suspect In East Lyme
Police are still processing the scene at the Mobile Station at 262 Flanders Road. East Lyme High School was temporarily locked down as a precautionary measure.
East Lyme Police Department and State Police are searching for a suspect who robbed the Mobile Station at 262 Flanders Road in East Lyme. The police report came in shortly after 4 pm on Friday. East Lyme High School was placed on temporary lockdown as a precautionary measure.
Police are processing the scene now and are using a K9 Unit to search for the suspect. The initial police report stated that a man displayed a handgun and robbed the store, making off with an undisclosed amount of money. No one was injured.
The initial description of the suspect is of a white man, heavyset, about 5 foot 7 inches tall. Police are still processing the scene.
