Community Update

Any community sport group supported by public funds must sign off on supporting a community project. Got one for New London...the streets are full of detritus...paper, butts, plastic etc.  Provide brooms and public works supervision and ask a group to adopt a street to clean up. Got any projects in Waterford? East Lyme? Niantic? Quaker Hill? Montville?Uncasville?  What do you think of this idea? Public donation of funds to community sport groups in return for a work force/community project.
