Helicopters to Hang Wires Today Across I-95
Wire hanging today, 12/05/2012 crossing I-95 and Waterford Parkways.
There will be helicopters hanging high voltage electrical wires across I-95 today, which will involve roadway closures. I-95 (both lanes), the Cross Roads area, and Waterford Parkway North and South will be effected.
The Waterford Police Department will be working with the Connecticut State Police in this area to shut down roadways while the operation is taking place. Please look for officers and troopers directing and stopping traffic in the area. All care will be taken to ensure that traffic flow is interrupted as little as possible.
