Animal Welfare League of New London County is having a massive Have-a-Heart Tag Sale Fundraiser---rain or shine---Sat., 3/12, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. & Sun., 3/13, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. inside Boilermakers Lodge 614 on 33 Sacred Heart Drive in Groton.
Donations accepted at the union hall Fri., 3/4, 3 p.m. - 6 p.m. & Sun., 3/6, 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. We'd love to have your unwanted, surplus Xmas items and gifts. Or, start your spring cleaning early and free yourself of the clutter in bulging closets and cupboards! Recycle items no longer needed by you but in good condition to us!
Donations of pet related items are especially wanted (ie) cat food, dog houses, and kennels. Animal supplies will not go to waste! Questions call 860-445-0280.

To say money is badly needed doesn't begin to tell the story. Difficult economic times and rising veterinary costs are taxing the abilities of our local families. Requests for assistance has increased. For many, their companion animals are family members.
