We love to swim in it and live near to it. The problem is that water is the biggest enemy to a home. What signs are there that the home takes on water besides the big puddle in the basement? Is it fixable? Some water problems can be fixed just by cleaning the gutters.
When you are looking at a property, make sure you ask your realtor if some things are problems.
