Americans for Prosperity Connecticut to

Host Common Core Presentation in Waterford

 

HARTFORD – Americans for Prosperity – Connecticut will host

a meeting in Waterford on Tuesday, December 3. 

The meeting will take place from 7-9PM at Langley’s Restaurant located

at 28 Lamphere Rd, off Great Neck Rd. in Waterford and will feature a

presentation on the Common Core State Standards.       

 

“This year, millions of American schoolchildren will be

taught a very different lesson plan than previous years as the Common Core

State Standards take effect in 45 states, including Connecticut,  and the District of Columbia,” said JR Romano,

State Director of Americans for Prosperity Connecticut.   “We look forward to hosting this meeting in

Waterford and to engaging in an educational discussion about what these changes

to education mean for local students and parents.”
