Another year, another successful for the Waterford Youth Services Bureau.
Fifteen-hundred people crammed into Waterford High School's new auditorium to watch middle school teachers, police officers, firefighters and even a Patch editor rock the wooden dance floor. Eleven couples participated in all, with 12 judges handling the scores.
At the end, it was police officer Steve Whitehead and Clark Lane Middle School teacher Alison Stahl who took home the top prize, earning a perfect 10 from every judge. The duo rocked the swing to "Zoot Suit Riot."
Alll the money raised from the event went to the Waterford Youth Service Bureau's efforts to fight underage drinking and drug use.
