Storm to Hit Waterford This Weekend

Snow and rain is expected throughout the weekend.

A mixture of snow and rain will hit Waterford this weekend; with it not expected to stop until Monday morning.

There is a chance of snow starting Saturday morning, and then either rain or snow is expected until Sunday night, according to the National Weather Service. It also is expected to be windy at times, according to the service.

Saturday: Snow likely before noon, then rain. High near 38. East wind 6 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Saturday Night: Rain. Low around 36. East wind 14 to 16 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent. New precipitation amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

Sunday: Rain likely, mainly before 9 a.m. Cloudy, with a high near 40. North wind 13 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

Sunday Night: A chance of rain before 1 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 29. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.

Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 41.
