Snow Expected Tonight in Waterford

The National Weather Service is predicting 1 to 3 inches of snow tonight.

The National Weather Service is predicting an 80 percent chance of snow tonight and into Thursday morning, with 1 to 3 inches of accumulation possible.

The weather service is predicting a high near 42 for Thursday during the day, which should help melt some of the new snow. No snow is predicted for the rest of the week, although there is a chance of rain on Friday, according to the service.

Patch will have updates on school delays or closing if there are any.

Today: Mostly sunny, with a high near 41. West wind around 6 mph becoming south in the morning.

Tonight: Rain and snow before 3 a.m., then a chance of snow. Low around 29. Light and variable wind becoming northeast 5 to 10 mph in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

Thursday: Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 42. North wind 7 to 9 mph becoming west in the afternoon.

Thursday Night: Patchy fog after midnight. Otherwise, partly cloudy, with a low around 31. Southwest wind 5 to 8 mph.

Friday: A slight chance of showers after noon. Patchy fog before 9 a.m. Otherwise, partly sunny, with a high near 48. South wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.

Friday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 30.

Saturday: Partly sunny, with a high near 41.

Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 22.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 32. Breezy.
