Daily Five: A Christmas Miracle for a Waterford Native

1. Today light rain is expected, with a high of 40, according to the National Weather Service. Tonight rain is predicted, with a low around 35, according to the service.

2. A huge Patch shout out to Waterford native Jennifer Fogg and father Joel Donahue. Christmas morning, Fogg gave birth to Jacob David Donahue at 2:03 a.m., the first baby born at Lawrence + Memorial Hospital on Christmas Day. A Christmas miracle indeed.

3. It is the day after Christmas, and much has reopened.

Town Hall is has reopened, along with all other non-essential government offices. However, there is no school today in Waterford, and there won’t be until Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013.
