3. Just an update on , an offensive lineman who played football at UConn and is now trying to make it in the NFL.

Hurd is currently practicing with the Oakland Raiders in their organized team activities and is trying to make the team, according to The Bulletin. Hurd went undrafted in last year's NFL draft, but was signed by the Seattle Seahawks. The Seahawks later cut Hurd, but he signed with the Raiders in August of last year and was signed to their practice squad.

4. Keene State College has announced its Dean's List for the spring semester of 2012 and one Waterford student has made the cut.
