Dominion Donates $2,500 To Support Minority Businesses

The Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut will use the grant for its Minority Business Support Services Program

A press release from the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut

The Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut is proud to announce that Dominion has awarded a grant in the amount of $2,500 to the Minority Business Support Services Program.

In support of civic and community development, Dominion’s contribution will provide minority-owned businesses with access to the benefits of membership in the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut, including marketing opportunities, networking and informational seminars.

As a result, participating businesses will benefit from the introduction to the wider business community that membership in the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut provides. Small businesses create the vast majority of jobs in the country and in eastern Connecticut they play a vital role in our region’s economy. For this reason, we encourage the community to support our local businesses whenever possible.
