New London Winter Film Festival: Moneyball

Based on Michael Lewis' nonfiction bestseller "Moneyball: The Art of Winning an Unfair Game," Bennett Miller directs the story of Oakland A's general manager Billy Beane's successful attempt to put together a baseball club on a budget by employing computer-generated analysis to draft his players has won Golden Globe nominations for Best Motion Picture and Best Screenplay (Steve Zaillian and Aaron Sorkin, writers). Starring Brad Pitt, Jonah Hill (Golden Globe nominees for Best Performance) and Robin Wright.
