Fiddle Fusion Workshop
For intermediate and advanced string players, and observers

Classical, folk and jazz string virtuosos from the 18-member Childsplay demonstrate and teach the techniques and stylistic integration of traditional Irish, French-Canadian, Cape Breton, Bluegrass, Appalachian, and Scandinavian fiddle music, as well as jazz, swing, and classical music. Musicians who wish can bring their instruments to this intimate musical exchange in the Garde Oasis Room led by Bonnie Bewick of the Boston Symphony, Naomi Morse, Sheila Falls, Lissa Schneckenburger, Laurel Martin, and Ellen Gawler.


The workshop is free for ticket holders to the evening performance of Childsplay Fiddle Fest and $15 for non-ticket holders.
