The Full Schedule For Waterford Week
The full schedule of events, including a parade, fireworks and now a ball.
It is that time of year again.
Tonight is the first night of Waterford Week, the town's premier event. The event kicks off with the 11th annual variety show at Clark Lane Middle School, where the citizen of the year, the employee of the year and the family of the year will be honored.
This year, there are several changes to some of the events. The parade is at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, instead of Sunday morning, and will lead directly to the family evening at Waterford Beach. There is also the relaunched Waterford Week Ball at the relaunched , where tickets are $40 per person, $70 for a couple and features the music of the Dick Campo Band, a meal and a cash bar.

“We didn’t have anything targeting the adult audience,” Waterford Week planning committee chairman Tim Condon said. “You should have something for the adults to do.”
Last year, Waterford Week was mostly a wash as the parade and the Waterford Week Family Evening , and again there is no rain date, so if it rains the events will be cancelled. Also, the Waterford Week Ball was cancelled last year because of lack of interest, although Condon believes the event will draw more people this year.
