Two Camera Memory Cards Lost, One Pandora Bracelet Found

An honest person found a lost Pandora bracelet and turned it in. A less honest person may have stolen a camera that contained a year's worth of memories.

After scouring Waterford Beach for days for a lost Pandora bracelet, Jessica Li decided to post an announcement on Patch. That caught the attention of Recreation and Parks Program Director Kerry Sullivan who, as it happens, had recently received a Pandora bracelet that a beach-goer had found and turned in to Recreation and Parks.

Jessica now has her treasured bracelet back. In return, she's turned in a camera memory chip that she found while searching the beach for her jewelry. If you lost this, please contact Waterford Recreation and Parks at (860) 444-5881.

Still Missing

Unfortunately, it's not the memory card that a Waterford mom is still hoping someone will turn in. She lost almost a year's worth of pictures of her family and, because she is also the yearbook editor for Oswegatchie Elementary School, she lost photos she needs to complete the book this year.

Although she initially wasn't sure where her camera went missing, a review of security tapes that monitor the Stop & Shop parking area in Waterford shows someone reaching into her vehicle and taking her camera. The camera was taken on Sunday, June 23  between 3 pm and 5 pm in either the Stop and Shop parking lot or the Nail Spa lower parking lot.

The Waterford mom, who prefers to remain anonymous, is still hoping someone will have a heart and at least return the memory card.

If you have it, or find it, she asks that you please mail the SD Card to Oswegatchie School, 470 Boston Post Rd., Waterford, CT 06385.
