Waterford Safe Grad Party 2014 meeting TONIGHT

Tonight in the WHS library at 7pm is the next meeting for the Class of 2014 Safe Grad Party. Please come check us out, share some ideas, learn about what is going on and perhaps volunteer for an activity/fundraiser. No commitment is necessary.

 Car crashes are the #1 cause of death for U.S. teens. Statistics from 2010: seven teens ages 16 to 19 died every day from car accident injuries EVERY DAY! Approx. 2,700 16–19 years old were killed. Approx 282,000 were treated and released from emergency departments for injuries from car accidents. 
Statistics have proven that Prom- Graduation Season, April, May and June are the are the most dangerous. More than 1/3 of teen alcohol related accidents happen during those months. However, in areas that "safe parties" are promoted numbers have reduced.
