Tuesday, the Connecticut Department of Education released the standardized test scores for every district in the state, and for Waterford, the news is good.
In Waterford, Connecticut Academic Performance Test scores generally increased from last year, and the scores were all above the state averages. The Connecticut Mastery Test scores also exceeded state averages across the board.
Throughout the state, CAPT scores were up in Connecticut, while CMT scores were down.
The CAPT is given to 10th-grade students. The CMTs are given to students in grades three through eight. To see Waterford's CMT performance results, search the table above.
