<strong>Aren’t about me sections the worst? I never know where to start. Oh well, here I go…</strong>

I am Karen.

I am a destination photographer based out of New London, Connecticut. In 2009 I graduated from the prestigious Hallmark Institute of Photography. I specialize in weddings, engagements, and photojournalism.

On November 1, 2012, I am leaving for a ridiculous adventure. I say ridiculous because six months ago, I would have never thought I would be going on this adventure. But then I was asked a simple question, a question that rocked my world and snapped me back into reality: “So… why aren’t you doing that?” This adventure is called project HOPE. and you can read all about it here.

When I’m not out photographing amazing people, I am the Show of Show &amp; Tell. Show &amp; Tell also started off as a simple question, “… do you know you are important?” and has taken off far beyond anything I could have ever imagined.

I am obsessed with zebras. I am an Apple girl. I love to run and exercise.  I love everything Disney. I love my family with all that I am. I love the feeling of laying on the beach,  the sun warming my skin, and the relaxing sound of the waves crashing. I love to laugh, and laugh, and laugh, and laugh until my stomach hurts. I love happy tears. I am a photographer, a writer, a public speaker, a daughter, a sister, a granddaughter, a niece, a cousin, a best friend, and that girl that always strives for more.
