The wetland system behind Oswegatchie School is identified by the Conservation Commission, and in…Read More the Towns Plan of Conservation and Development as a high value wetland. I commend the Girl Scouts, not only for their efforts, but to have gone through the effort to ask for (and receive) approval from the Waterford Conservation Commission prior to the start of work. Their actions show an awareness of the importance of not only the wetland resource, but the regulatory process for working in one. Kudos on all fronts!
