I can't say enough about this event..I am a volunteer for the shelter, and was at the event all day.Read More Watching the energy and passion of our community come together for the animals was truly inspiring...It goes without saying that Demi, her family, and all involved in this event went above and beyond, and it was out of nothing more than pure, simple love and generosity coming straight from the heart. In being one who is a voice for the animals...thank you...

The wetland system behind Oswegatchie School is identified by the Conservation Commission, and inRead More the Towns Plan of Conservation and Development as a high value wetland. I commend the Girl Scouts, not only for their efforts, but to have gone through the effort to ask for (and receive) approval from the Waterford Conservation Commission prior to the start of work. Their actions show an awareness of the importance of not only the wetland resource, but the regulatory process for working in one. Kudos on all fronts!
