Tom Chapin Sings at Friday Night Folk Concert
Friday, 7:30 p.m. - Tom Chapin has established a reputation for insightful, heartfelt songcraft and charismatic live performances. The New York Times called him "one of the great personalities in contemporary folk music." Chapin’s witty, life-affirming original songs are delivered in a sophisticated array of musical styles. In a career that spans five decades, 23 albums and three Grammy awards, this singer-songwriter has covered a great deal of creative ground. Honoring of Native Veterans Powwow

Saturday, 10 a.m. - Experience the excitement of a Native celebration with dancers, music, regalia, and traditional arts. Everyone is invited to join in the intertribal dances to thank all the veterans who have sacrificed so much. This event is free with Mashantucket Pequot Museum & Research Center admission and is free to museum members. Fashion for a Cause
Saturday, 7 p.m. - This event will benefit the CT Children’s Medical Center Neurology Unit. Tickets are $25 per person and include beverages, dessert, a silent auction, and fashion event. Phoenix Rising Equine Rescue Open Barn
Sunday, noon - Come and meet the beloved horses and see how your support literally saves live. There will be a huge tag sale, face painting, refreshments, and music by Joe Majesky of the Cartells. For more information, visit www.phoenixrisingequinerescue.org.

High Rollers Luxury Lanes & Lounge Fall Fesitval
Sunday, 1 p.m. - The afternoon will include the season’s best, as guests will enjoy beer, passed appetizers and bowling, before going home with a complimentary pint glass. Featuring beer from Levine Distributing Co., as well as local brewers, attendees will be invited to sample more than 25 varieties of seasonal beers. Four Big Night Entertainment Group chefs will also participate in a contest, with each preparing a dish that must incorporate beer as a main ingredient. Guests will be encouraged to sample the dishes and vote on their favorite. Chefs will be allowed to use any of the brands present at the festival. Tickets are currently available for $35 in advance at www.HighRollersFoxwoods.com and guests can call 860-312-2695 for additional information. Upon arrival, ticket purchasers can check in at the door, where they will be directed to High Rollers' private Grand Room to enjoy open beer sampling and passed appetizers. Fourteen of the venue's main bowling lanes will be open for complimentary bowling for the duration of the event.

Messages from the Other Side

Sunday, 2 p.m. - Join for an afternoon with Lisa Lanno, as she connects with passed loved ones. Well known and respected in the field of psychic abilities, Lanno will also be donating a personal reading to a lucky guest along with other great door prizes and raffles. Beech Brook Equine Rescue of Mystic is hosting this event to raise funds for our "at risk" youth programs and care of our rescued horses and donkeys.
