Turning His Birthday Into A Gift For Others
Robert Yuchniuk, son of the town's animal control officer, asked for donations to the shelter instead of birthday gifts
Waterford Animal Control Officer Robert Yuchniuk posted this photo on the Waterford-East Lyme Animal Control Facebook page, with this caption:
"I am very proud to present, my son, Robert, who for his 9th birthday asked for people to make donations to the animal shelter and not for toys for himself. He raised $200.00 for the animal shelter!"
