Madeline Guarraia Is An Inspiration

Cindy Jordan sent us an email this week with some photos to share.

From Cindy Jordan: "I donated my hair today (June 12) with inspiration from little !  I work with Madeline’s mom at and have since she was diagnosed 1 year ago with leukemia.  She has been such a brave trooper and a positive influence on others.  I was totally inspired to help others and decided to donate 9 inches of hair.  Madeline was there to watch!

Back in March a student from Oswegatchie School who had Amie Guarraia as her Kindergarten teach when Madeline was diagnosed, donated her hair in honor of Madeline.  She had also been inspired by Madeline.  Cassidy’s mother sat by and watched with tears as her daughter made the very grown up decision to cut and donate her beautiful long hair!

Madeline is continuing treatments for another year while balancing school, dance and inspiring and educating others!
