Connecticut Coast Soccer (CCS) has named the Terri Brodeur Breast Cancer Foundation (TBBCF) as the exclusive charitable beneficiary of CCS’s 2013 Nike Labor Day Classic Tournament.  Since 1994, the mission of CCS is to enhance the reputation and visibility of youth soccer programs in southeastern Connecticut by offering tournaments, clinics, and specialized soccer training. The Labor Day Classic presented by Nike, in its third year, is an integral part of CCS commitment to building the game of soccer in Southeastern Connecticut, while showcasing the area as a vacation destination for youth players and their families.

The 2013 Nike Labor Day Classic Tournament will be bringing 100 teams and more than 7,000 people from around the East Coast to the Waterford/East Lyme.

“As a lifelong Waterford resident and neighbor, I grew up knowing Terri Brodeur and playing soccer with her brothers Victor, Chris and Anthony, all of whom loved the game of soccer.” said CCS Founder Rob Brule. “To know that our Labor Day Tournament will help remember Terri and her family, and help raise awareness of the great work being done by the Brodeur Foundation, is an honor to be a part of.”

TBBCF will be staffing a tent at two locations in Waterford - Bridebrook and Spera fields where we will promote our walk, distribute literature, sell promotional items, accept donations, and sell lemonade...We will also be walking through the crowd with donation containers collecting donations.

For the Tents, we need 2 volunteers from 8am-12pm and 12pm-4pm on Saturday and Sunday at the two locations (Bridebrook and Spera Fields) and we will only be at Bridebrook Field on Monday.

For passing TBBCF Donation containers in the crowd on Saturday and Sunday will need 2 or 3 volunteers from 10am to 2pm at each field.

Please consider supporting the Terri Brodeur Breast Cancer Foundation and volunteer for a four hour shift.
