Roads will be closed in downtown Niantic on Saturday for Celebrate East Lyme, so expect detours and parking restrictions. There will be no on street parking on Main Street between Lake Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue after 11 a.m. to allow vendors time to set up.

At noon. Route 156 (Main Street) will be closed from the intersection at Lake Avenue, East to the intersection with Route 161 (Pennsylvania Avenue). Traffic will be detoured north onto Lake Avenue and then east onto Hope Street. Traffic will then continue onto Route 161.
