Waterford's Dancing with the Stars Replacement is Announced
Waterford Youth Services announces the replacement for Waterford Dancing with the Stars
It is with great excitement that we announce So you think you can dance Waterford? will replace Dancing with the Stars' Waterford as our next community event.
Even though we're moving on from our popular dancing with the stars event that has attracted more than 1,500 people for the each of the past two years, we're promising everyone the same fun and amazing show with a new twist that takes it up a notch. So you think you can dance Waterford? will feature groups of three to six dancers from high school-age on up who will receive professional training and choreography.
Certain rules will apply, but dance groups will be made up of dancers with little to no experience. As always, we'd love to see our Dancing with the Stars Waterford alums come back to form groups with those they may have competed against in the past...wouldn't that be fun?

We're looking for groups of teachers, high school students, senior citizens, firefighters, community folks, businesses, police officers, etc. Word on the street is that the Waterford Police Department already has a group or two ready to go! The competition will feature judges and a lot of entertainment. We've begun to recruit so please contact Waterford Youth Services or Officer Marc Balestracci asap to sign up! This year's show will be in April.
