Waterford South 11/12 Allstars lost game two in the Winners Bracket dropping them into the losers bracket for as long as they remain in the tournament.

Waterford starting Pitcher, Dylan Bosco, only game up 5 runs in 5 full innings but the opponent only gave up one run after 5. Score 5-1 Waterford South trailing after 5 full innings of play. Top of the Sixth, Relief Pitcher, Liam Spellman, with one out and one player on base "parks one" for a 2 run home run. This seem to be the spark the team needed and by the time the Top of the Sixth was over Waterford was on top 9-5.

With the opponent coming to bat in the bottom of the sixth, Waterford had gained the lead after trailing the entire game 5-1. With that said, Waterford's opponent also was able to regain composure and scored 6 runs in the Bottom of the Sixth to end the game by a score of 11-9.

In as much as this is a double elimination tournament, Waterford South needs to stay focused, with their heads held high, play each remaining game at 100 percent and to the Best of their ability and remember what it took them to get to this stage.

Waterford South ALLSTARS know one player cannot win a game it takes an entire team effort and they have shown that through the course of their playing,
especially during last night's game when they battled back from a 5-1 deficit and were able to put 8 runs on the board to force their opponent to come back as well.

Continue success, WATERFORD SOUTH 11/12 ALLSTARS, and best of luck in your continued journey.

Waterford South plays again tonight at 5:30 at the Harwinton Sports Complex, 100 Bentley Drive, Harwinton, CT.
