The Waterford High School boys’ basketball team had an up-and-down week this week, with a big win followed by a big loss.
On Friday, the team crushed Stonington, 70-50, to extend its winning streak to three. However, that all ended Tuesday, as the team was trounced by New London, 82-42. The team is now 6-4.
Meanwhile, a tough season continued for the Waterford High School girls’ basketball team. The team lost two more games to St. Bernard's and Stonington to drop its record to 2-9, as of the last update on the CIAC’s website.
