It was a tough week this week for the Waterford High School boys’ basketball team, with it winning one game and then losing two.
Last Wednesday, the team defeated Old Lyme at home, 52-40. However, the team has since lost back-to-back games to Ledyard and Stonington to drop its record to 10-7.
Meanwhile, the Waterford girls’ team lost to Ledyard on the road, 63-32, to drop its record to 4-13. However, we are told the girls’ team has a very young team this year, starting several freshmen, and is using this season as a great learning experience. We are told big things are in this team’s future.
