The boy's basketball team won its first Eastern Connecticut Conference division title since the Ford Administration with a 70-60 win over Windham Tuesday night, The Bulletin reported.
According to the article, this win signifies the first divisitional title for the boys' basketball team since 1976.
“It goes without saying how proud we are of the program,” senior guard Cory Murallo said in the article. “Coach Gwudz, in just his second year, that’s quite an accomplishment, but it doesn’t stop with him. It’s a whole program we have running here. Our senior class has been playing together since pre-teen leagues and it feels so great to have something under our belt.”
