The Waterford School District has cancelled school Monday because of the blizzard, as nearly 30 percent of homes still do not have power and many streets remain unplowed.
Also, some schools do not have power, according to Superintendent Jerome Belair. All 12-month employees of the district are asked to report to work Monday.
