Tuesday's game against Woodstock Academy prepares team for this weekend's Eastern Connecticut Conference tournament
The Waterford High School boys' basketball team enters the Eastern Connecticut Conference tournament this weekend off a Senior Night win against Woodstock Academy on Tuesday, The Bulletin reported.
“I think our whole schedule has prepared us pretty well,” Greg Gwudz, coach of the Waterford boys' team told The Bulletin.

“I think we faced some pretty good teams; we faced some teams that are big, we faced some teams who play good zones, we played some teams that can light it up and shoot the three. ... That’s just going to help us," Gwudz said in the article.
"Hopefully we can have a little bit of a run in this ECC tournament to keep us playing and kind of keep us focused for going into the state tournament.”
