Waterford Board Of Education Recognizes Greatness
Waterford High School's softball team and baseball team were honored with citations from the board last night for their accomplishments on the field.
The accolades just keep coming for Waterford High School's top teams this year. The Lancers' Girls Softball team won the Class M State Championship, the Boys Baseball team made it all the way to the Class L finals. And Waterford High School softball star Megan Spellman was just named Player of the Year.
Last night, the Waterford Board of Education honored both the girls' and the boys' teams with special citations. Board Chairwoman Kathy McCarty undoubtedly spoke for the whole town when she said, "We're all very proud!"
