There are two ways to teach children to make good choices.
You can lecture them about it for hours on end, or you can have them sing about it. At Great Neck School, Principal Pat Fedor and her team chose the latter.
Friday afternoon, held an assembly where students took turns singing about the importance of good decisions. They sung about accepting everybody, regardless of race or religion, they sung about taking responsibility, they sung about being all they could be.
