Waterford High School invites all veterans and friends to the flag pole outside of the high school for a special ceremony involving members of the armed forces as well as patriotic performances by Waterford students.
The moving ceremony will honor the memory of all veterans, but also highlight the sacrifices of Waterford’s own lost heroes: , Staff Sgt. Edwin Rivera, and Cpl. Kemaphoom Chanawongse. Please arrive by 8:30 a.m. If there is rain, the ceremony may be moved inside to the field house.
