Gratitude Grows At Home

Sensations Charitable Foundation, Inc, Norwich Public Schools and Autism Speaks are proud to present an evening with Daryl Blonder, a Salem resident who has recently published "Problem Child: Confessions of an Aspie," a book on his life with high-functioning autism. Mr. Blonder will speak about his life's experiences, which weave a story of oftentimes seemingly insurmountable hardships and victories achieved against all odds. As one of the added features, Daryl's mother, Janice Blonder, will be sharing the stage and discussing her side of Daryl's life experiences.

Following this presentation, the audience will be invited to participate in a question-and-answer session. You can be instrumental in the focus of the discussion by raising topics YOU would like to see covered, as you register for this FREE event.

This presentation is appropriate for youth in high school, parents, service providers, therapists, and school personnel.

"...Because the reality is, it's a really rough world out there for us. We have to find our way. We just live by a different set of rules. I mean, things that apply to other people don't really apply to us sometimes."
--Daryl Blonder, from "The Day" article "A Dispatch from the World of Autism," October 15, 2011
