State Rep. Betsy Ritter Wants To Hear From You

Ritter, who represents Montville and Waterford in Connecticut's General Assembly, will be holding office hours in both towns this month in advance of the Feb. 5 start of the legislative session.

State Representative Betsy Ritter, who represents Montville and Waterford in the Connecticut General Assembly, will hold open office hours this month in both towns to discuss concerns of residents and local and state issues.  

“These meetings are a great opportunity to meet with people and discuss their concerns and the issues confronting us in an informal setting,” she said. “The new legislative session will convene Feb. 5 and it is very helpful to hear what people are thinking. I urge everyone to meet with me so we can talk. If you can’t make the office hours, feel free to call me at 860-444-1700.”

The office hours in Montville will be from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Jan. 13 in the Town Council Chambers in town hall and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Jan. 27 in Room 102 in town hall.

The office hours in Waterford will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Jan. 13 in the main floor activity room in the town library and from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Jan. 24in the lower level conference room in the town library.

Ritter’s primary role is deputy speaker of the House of Representatives. She is also a member of the Appropriations, Human Services and Energy and Technology committees.
