The town is planning to allocate $83,000 through June 30, 2016 for raises for approximately 20 municipal employees, the New London Day reports.
The raises will include the positions of recreation, finance, human services and library directors.
According to the New London Day, the town will provide a retroactive raise totaling 1.5 percent from Jan. 1, 2013 through June 30, 2014, and then a subsequent 2.25 percent raise from July 1 through June 30, 2016.
