Waterford Police: Suspect Went Through Old Norwich Road Mailboxes

Police allege a person went through several mailboxes and stole a package containing a piece of jewelry.

The Waterford Police Department has announced that the man they arrested for allegedly going through Quaker Hill mailboxes and taking mail was 24-year-old Sean Goins. Goins is from Uncasville.

The Waterford Police Department has arrested a person they believe went through several Quaker Hill mailboxes Monday and stole at least one package.

During Monday's overnight shift, Waterford Police Officers noticed that several mailboxes were open on Old Norwich Road and mail was scattered around that area, according to a department press release. After investigation, police arrested a person for going through mailboxes and stealing a package that contained a piece of jewelry.

Police have yet to release the name of the person who was arrested. The package containing jewelry has been returned to its rightful owner.
