Waterford Police Make Speedy Arrest Thanks To Facebook

Police used social media to asked for help identifying people suspected of stealing laptop computers from Walmart on Saturday. By Sunday, one person had been identified and arrested.

Facebook is turning out to be a very useful tool for Waterford Police Department. On Saturday, Waterford Police posted surveillance photos of people who allegedly stole laptop computers from Waterford Walmart on December 18 and December 19, asking if anyone could help identify the suspects. 

On Sunday, Waterford Police followed up with an announcement thanking people for their help. The female suspect has been identified and arrested, the police said, and arrest warrants will be forthcoming for the two men pictured if they don't turn themselves in.
