Waterford Police Chief Honored By MADD

Mothers Against Drunk Driving recognizes Waterford Police Department's efforts to combat drunk driving at a ceremony in New Haven on Wednesday.

Waterford Police Chief Murray Pendleton was honored as a "Top Cop" by the Connecticut chapter of MADD yesterday in New Haven. Not only did he receive an award, he was the keynote speaker at the event.

More than 350 Police Officers and State Troopers from throughout the state attended the event. Among them were Waterford Police Officer Maffeo and Sgt. Balestracci, who were recognized for the efforts in combating drunk driving.
