A Waterford man was recently arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs after he crashed his car into a rock wall and it burst into flames.
According to Connecticut State Police, Edyinio Anger, 27, of 9 Dubreuil Drive was traveling southbound on I-95 in East Lyme when he drove off the right side of the road at the merge with I-395. His car hit a rock wall and then burst into flames, according to police.
Anger was able to escape the crash without injury but was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and for traveling too fast for conditions, according to police. His bond was set at $500.
