UPDATE: Victim's Name Released In Car Crushing Death
21-Year-Old Christian Klorczyk Died After Garage Accident
21-year-old Christian Klorczyk died Friday in Waterford after a car crushed him.
Klorczyk was working on his car in his parent’s garage when it fell on top of him, according to Police Lt. Brett Mahoney. The 21-year-old Westwood Drive resident was rushed to Lawrence & Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
One of Klorcyzk's parents was driving home just after 4 p.m., opened the garage door and saw his or her son underneath his own vehicle, according to Mahoney. The parent immediately called 9-1-1, where firefighters rushed to the scene.

Once there, a firefighter crawled underneath the car and pulled the 21-year-old out, Goshen Deputy Chief Donald Chapman, Jr. said. A Waterford ambulance rushed Klorczyk to the hospital, but he was pronounced dead on scene.
A LIFESTAR helicopter was originally called, but later cancelled, Chapman said. If a person needs immediate help, an ambulance trip to Lawrence & Memorial Hospital is faster, Chapman said.
